Free Lifetime Deal Spreadsheet Template

A ready-to-copy Google Sheet for tracking every lifetime deal you own — refund windows, duplicates, price paid, and ROI — across AppSumo, StackSocial, PitchGround and beyond.

What's inside the template

  • Pre-built columns for tool, marketplace, price paid, and purchase date
  • Refund-window tracker with deadline math per marketplace
  • Duplicate-purchase flag column so you stop buying the same thing twice
  • ROI column: monthly SaaS equivalent vs what you actually paid
  • Status field (Active / Refunded / Founder gone) to keep the stack honest

Download the CSV — no email needed. Opens in Excel, Numbers, LibreOffice or Google Sheets. The refund-window column ships empty on purpose — fill it from each marketplace's own policy rather than trusting a number we guessed.

Use the same sheet as a SaaS subscription tracker

The columns that track a lifetime deal — what you paid, when, which store, when the refund window closes — are the same columns a subscription tracker needs. Add a billing-cycle column (monthly / yearly / lifetime) and treat the renewal date the way the template treats a refund deadline, and the sheet becomes one place for everything you pay for software: the tools you own outright and the ones still billing you.

Two numbers fall out of that: your monthly SaaS burn, and how much of it lifetime deals have already replaced. The second is the one most people have never calculated — and it is usually the argument for cancelling a subscription you forgot you had.

When the spreadsheet stops keeping up

A spreadsheet is a great start, and for some things it stays better: it is free, it is yours, it works offline, and under about 20 deals it is genuinely enough.

Where it breaks down is upkeep. Past ~50 deals refund windows slip by and you can't tell which tools you've bought twice. DealKeep's tracker and manager auto-import from 25+ marketplaces, alert you before every refund deadline, and detect duplicates — no manual upkeep. See what you'd save with the ROI calculator.
