TrendSwell Lifetime Deal: Site Unreachable on Two Checks — What Owners Should Do Now
By DealKeep Team · 2026-08-31
Short answer: the TrendSwell lifetime deal is over, and the product is the one on this list we are most worried about. trendswell.com returned an error on 18 August 2026 and again on 22 August; the app subdomain does not resolve. That is not the same as "shut down" — but it is the pattern that usually comes before it, and the deal's own terms give owners something concrete to ask for.

Deal status: is the TrendSwell lifetime deal still available?
No. TrendSwell never sold on AppSumo — the lifetime deal ran on Ken Moo's deal platform in two tiers, Startup at $299 and Brand at $399, and Ken Moo's listing now reads "the lifetime deal for this product has ended." Any TrendSwell LTD you see advertised today is either that listing being re-shared or a resold code.
What TrendSwell sold: an AI trend-research tool that takes a topic, researches it in real time and returns hundreds of keywords with search volume, CPC and competition data across 86 countries. It runs on a bring-your-own-keys model — you connect your own OpenAI and DataForSEO keys, and each search costs roughly $0.07 to $0.10 in API fees on top of the licence.
The site check, and why we are not calling it dead
| Check | 18 Aug 2026 | 22 Aug 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| trendswell.com | HTTP 409 error | HTTP 409 error |
| www.trendswell.com | — | HTTP 409 error |
| app.trendswell.com | — | does not resolve |
A 409 is an application-level error, not a parked domain, and a BYOK tool may keep working for logged-in users after its marketing site breaks. But two failures four days apart, with no status page and no announcement we can find, is exactly the FounderTrack signal we built the Lifetime Deal Graveyard to catch. We record TrendSwell as at risk, not shut down, and we will update this page when that changes.
Founder record
TrendSwell is Marchese Company LLC, founded by Jack Marchese in Meriden, Connecticut, in March 2024 — a bootstrapped team of fewer than ten people, by its own listing. A solo or near-solo company selling a $299–$399 lifetime licence eighteen months after founding is the highest-variance shape a lifetime deal can take: it can be a great bargain if the founder stays, and it has no one else to carry the product if they don't.

The clause owners should act on
The Ken Moo listing included a lifetime-ownership agreement with source-code access if the company ceases operations. That is unusual, and it is the first thing a TrendSwell buyer should do something about: write to the founder now, while the company still answers, and ask how that clause is triggered and where the code would be delivered. A clause you only discover after the email bounces is worth nothing.
Refund window
Ken Moo deals carry the marketplace's own refund period from the date of purchase; that closed long ago for a deal that has already ended. There is no refund path for a historic TrendSwell licence.
If you own a TrendSwell lifetime deal
- Try to log in today and export any saved research. If the app loads, you are fine for now; if it doesn't, note the date.
- Email the founder about the source-code clause — see above.
- Keep your DataForSEO and OpenAI keys — they are yours, and any replacement tool on the same model will reuse them.
- Set a FounderTrack watch on TrendSwell in your tracker so the next silent change is not silent.
Frequently asked questions
Did TrendSwell shut down? We do not know, and we will not say so until we do. The public site has failed on two checks in August 2026 and there has been no announcement.
Was TrendSwell on AppSumo? No. It sold on Ken Moo only.
Can I still buy the TrendSwell lifetime deal? No. The listing has ended and the vendor site is down; do not buy a resold code into a product whose site is erroring.
The bottom line
TrendSwell is the young-founder case: a promising BYOK tool, a one-person company, a site that has stopped answering, and a source-code promise that owners should call in before it is too late to ask.
